Microcast spool for ABU Ambassadeur 2500C series.
Three types of spool rim level: 2.0 mm, 4.0 mm, and 6.0 mm.
AMB2520R and AMB2540R can be equipped with either a centrifugal brake or a magnet brake, your choice of brake unit, or both at the same time.
6.0mm is only available with stock centrifugal brakes or 4P-Brake 25C.

Genuine 2-point centrifugal brake is replaceable.
Special magnetic brakes for each model are available.

By replacing genuine spool with the Microcast spool, you will succeed in weight saving of reel.
This will help improve your cast with light-weight lures as well as cast further distance.

* Special magnetic brake also help you adjust the brake more finely.

How to use

The following explanation will be given for the ABU Garcia Ambassadeur 2500C IAR.



Remove the unit on the handle side and take out the spool.
As promised, be careful not to lose the brake blocks (the two grain-like parts).

Install a centrifugal brake (stock or our original 4P-Brake 25C).
* When using our magnetic brake, fit the attached plastic collar.



On the longer end of the shaft, install a coil spring for positioning.
For reels with bearings and cogwheels on the shaft side, such as the 2600C Elite, please be sure to install a coil spring.
Without the spring, the bearing will come off the frame and cannot be used properly.



Installation is completed. Adjust the mechanical brake.

* If you feather the reel with your thumb using the spool rim, the alumite may come off due to friction.
Feather a reel with your a thumb, use the spool's spool surface.
