This Microcast Spool is designed for the ABU Ambassadeur 5000 Bronze Bushing Model.
Compared with the Genuine spool (5000 (4-Screw): approx. 24.9 g), the AMB5030R is approximately 8.9 g lighter, while the AMB5050R is approximately 8.3 g lighter. In addition, the reduced line capacity significantly decreases the total spool weight.
This greatly improves the minimum castable lure weight while increasing casting distance with lures of the same weight.


| Compatibility

Compatible with the Ambassadeur 5000/5000D models that support the spool on both ends with bronze bushings.
*If converting the bronze bushings to ball bearings, a different spool is required.
Compatible with the Old Ambassadeur 5000 and 5000D.
When using the line alarm function on the 5000D, please order the separately sold Line Alarm Gear Collar together.

The “Bronze Bushing Model” uses the same spool shaft as the Genuine spool,
but we also offer a “Ball Bearing Model” equipped with a spool shaft designed for bearing conversion.
*When using the “Ball Bearing Model,” two separately sold 10 x 3 x 4 bearings are required.

Although they share the same Ambassadeur 5000 model name, this spool is not compatible with the Palming Model or the ULTRACAST Model. Please confirm your reel before ordering.
The ULTRACAST Model, in which the spool shaft separates from the spool, is not compatible.



Compatible with reels that have the spool shaft shape shown in the photo.
The cog wheel has been removed from the right side.
Remove the cog wheel and check the shape of the concealed section.

When not using the line alarm function, install the parts as shown in the illustration above.
The white clicker and Line Alarm Gear Collar are not required.

*If you thumb the spool rim directly, friction may cause the anodized finish to wear away.
Please apply thumb pressure only to the spool line-winding surface.
