| The inte Series Has Evolved Alongside Bait Tackle
The Latest Model Achieves "Beyond-the-Limit Lightweight Casting"

Beams inte 5.8XF is a model designed for the lightest casting game in lure fishing - "Ajing" - with a primary focus on small to medium-sized targets.
Its main mission is to cast jig heads weighing less than 1g, manipulate them with precision, and transmit to the angler's hand the bites of aji (horse mackerel), which are said to be so subtle they feel like nothing at all.
"XF = Extra Fine: Extremely Delicate" - this designation goes in the complete opposite direction of the conventional "bait tackle = more power" approach.

A 0.5g jig head paired with a 1.5-inch lure...
Casting such an incredibly small rig with bait tackle...
It may sound difficult at first glance, but the era where anyone can do this easily has already arrived.

Even within the extreme realm of ultra-small target Ajing, this rod focuses on the frequently targeted sub-30cm range - the so-called "mame-aji" (bean aji) and small aji - keeping blank power to the bare minimum required.
Each section of the slim 3-piece design is packed with the specific performance qualities most needed for that particular section.

Frighteningly soft, bending as if to cradle the rig, yet containing within it a sharp, snapping tension that returns instantly!
The tip propels rigs and lures totaling less than 1g like a spring, transmitting the presence of the underwater lure directly to the angler's hand.
It serves as both the "lure launch pad" and the "first point of information input."

The center piece that supports this tip is the "fight section," which draws hooked fish toward the angler.
By gradually increasing power from the tip side toward the butt side, it can effortlessly bring in everything from small fish to slightly larger ones, and even giga-aji over 40cm, without breaking the ultra-thin line.
However, it is by no means strong.
Rather, power is kept to the bare minimum - a power setting that pushes the limits to allow anglers to enjoy light game fights to the absolute fullest.

Unlike previous inte series models, the butt piece does not have the thickness needed for raw power, but instead features the slim profile of the Blanciera series.
This section handles the load required when lifting giga-aji over 40cm from the seawall.
Beyond the reel seat, designed with an extremely short blank-touch configuration, information transmitted from the tip through the center is conveyed to the fingertips and palm with a hard, metallic sensation, enabling instantaneous lightning-fast hooksets.

To cast the ultra-thin line system trouble-free all day long, particular care was taken with guide settings.
The top guide is sized to the absolute minimum weight while still accommodating knot pass-through.
The middle guides transmit underwater information captured by the top guide efficiently and at high speed.
The butt guide avoids contact with the line coming off the reel during casting to eliminate resistance, while during fights it serves a supporting role by keeping the line close to the blank.
Each component is minimized yet performs maximum work, delivering easy casting, trouble-free line control, highly sensitive bite transmission, and fighting power.

Light lures require spinning tackle?
That's already becoming a thing of the past.
The world of bait light game, brought about by the evolution of tackle, has achieved even greater lightweight performance, sensitivity, and trouble-free operation.
These benefits shouldn't be limited to Ajing alone.
Small fish gathering at harbor edges and under night lights, and even Japanese freshwater fish (nittan) in small streams - all of these can be targeted with bait tackle... and easily at that!

There's no longer any need to fear light lures...!
Beams inte 5.8XF pioneers this path even deeper.

So, what will you target?

| Please Be Aware of Joint Loosening

Due to the nature of pack rods, joints may loosen after repeated casting.
If the joints are not properly connected, it can lead to damage at the joint section or cause the rod to break.
Applying ferrule wax helps prevent the joint from slipping off during casting, prevents sticking caused by moisture intrusion, and protects the joint section.
We strongly recommend checking for joint looseness after several casts and using ferrule wax.
