| Immeasurable Benefits of Bait Rod Eging

[Advantages]
- Bait reels produce less line slack during casting
- During fall and drift fall, bait reels allow you to constantly feel the line, making it easier to detect subtle changes.
Zero-tension operation, keeping the line neither taut nor slack, is also easy.
- Easy control of fall speed.
- By setting the bait reel's drag slightly loose, you can handle strong jerks with thumbing to prevent drag slippage.
- After jerking, simply flicking the star drag with the middle finger of your palming hand instantly removes 2-3m of line slack.

Among other benefits.
For these reasons, bait eging is an advantageous system as a squid fishing tool.

In pursuit of casting performance as an eging bait rod, and to ensure "lightness," "high sensitivity," and "ease of jerking," the following features have been implemented.

| Weight Reduction

By selecting small guides and adopting a reverse spigot joint for the 3-piece carbon blank, Calmer has been made as thin as possible to reduce weight.

| High Sensitivity & Casting Distance

Made using a similar construction to the Inte series, it flexes while maintaining high sensitivity.
This is achieved by using high-modulus carbon on the surface layer.
This allows vibrations of the same wavelength to be transmitted even across joints, resulting in excellent sensitivity.
The reason it flexes is because low-modulus carbon is incorporated in the lower layer.
As a result, low-modulus carbon works during the takeback bend, while high-modulus carbon works for quick recovery, achieving a sharp, crisp feel.
Recent smartphone slow-motion casting videos cannot even capture the speed of recovery.
It can be said that there is no longer any difference in casting distance compared to spinning tackle.

| Ease of Jerking

With existing reel seats, repeated jerking can sometimes cause pain in the palm.
To solve this, only the trigger section of Calmer's reel seat is made of resin, while the front and rear are wrapped with very thin EVA, eliminating contact with hard resin.
Pair it with a recent bait finesse reel and you will find it surprisingly comfortable to grip.

The ML, which can cast light egi, is primarily for autumn squid. With a MAX size of 3.5, it is also suitable for spring squid.

ML Features
When paired with a lightweight bait reel weighing around 180g, the fulcrum sits at the fore nut, preventing tip-heaviness so you can jerk all day without fatigue.
When swung, it feels light and sharp, but the body section bends considerably, providing excellent follow-through, crisp dart action, and casting distance that rivals longer rods.
This firmness provides high sensitivity, making bottom detection - the greatest advantage of bait tackle - easy to feel.

| Please Be Careful of Joint Loosening

Due to the nature of pack rods, joints may loosen after repeated casting.
If each joint is not firmly connected, it may lead to damage to the joint section or cause the rod to break.
Applying ferrule wax prevents the joint from slipping out during casting, and also prevents seizing caused by moisture intrusion, protecting the joint section.
We strongly recommend checking that the joints are not loose after several casts and using ferrule wax.
