A new proposal from LIVRE for 2026.
A new manufacturing process (spinning) has greatly reduced the titanium wall thickness of the ff and f knobs, from the conventional 0.8mm to 0.4-0.6mm.
Although the wall is thinner, the compression effect of spinning keeps the knobs strong.
The knob collar is black DURACON®*.
As a result, the Fortissimo knob weighs less than half of the previous version, and the Forte knob is about 5.1g lighter.
Operation and comfort are dramatically improved: a next-generation lightweight knob that makes every move of the angler lighter.

Equipped With the Thin-Walled Hollow Titanium Knob “Fortissimo air”

The titanium part of the knob is made by spinning (*1), and the knob collar is black DURACON®.
Round on the palm side and gently pentagonal on the reel side, its ideal shape is easy to pinch and grip.

*1 Spinning
A titanium sheet is pressed against a mandrel and rolled little by little with a roller, thinning the titanium wall for a major weight reduction. Although the wall becomes extremely thin, the rolling increases the strength of the material itself.

No-Wobble Handle

The handle uses a center lock system that eliminates the locking plate and small screws.
The center of the threaded section is precisely machined from round stock on an NC lathe, and an O-ring keeps the nut at the center of the plate.
Anyone can easily install the custom handle perfectly centered, for a remarkably wobble-free cranking feel.

A7075 Extra Super Duralumin, 3D Machined

Extra super duralumin is a type of aluminum alloy. It is called “A7075” in the Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS), has excellent yield strength and is used for thick plates and forged parts.
LIVRE machines it into an H-section 3D shape with high-precision machining.
Only machining from solid can achieve maximum lightening while giving top priority to high rigidity.

Fits a Wide Variety of Reels From Each Manufacturer

With a center nut purchased separately, the handle fits SHIMANO, DAIWA, AbuGarcia and PFLUEGER reels, thanks to the industry-first Quick Change System.
Simply replace the supplied hexagonal washer in the main plate to fit reels from each manufacturer.
