D-SYSTEM SF
IOS D-SYSTEM for SF

The lightest drag system ever for the DAIWA SF series has been finely tuned.
While retaining the high performance of the rigid and mechanical IOS drag system capable of controlling even a 1 lb line, this is the lightest and most beautifully functional design in the D-SYSTEM lineup.
A drag customization part truly worthy of the name SF (Super Fines).
* The product comes as an all-in-one package, including tools, adjustment shims, and bearings.
| Compatible Reels
DAIWA SF Series (EXIST SF, AIRITY SF, LUVIAS SF 1000–2500, etc.)
| Included Items
- D-SF Main Unit
- Installation Tool
- Adjustment Shims (0.5 / 1.0)

- Fixing Ring
| Installation Method
1. Remove all Genuine drag unit parts, leaving only the main shaft.
* Reuse the original set screw.
2. Set the D-SF main unit and firmly tighten the set screw using the included tool to secure it.
* The set screw is reused from the Genuine reel.

3. After setting the 1 mm adjustment shim, install the bearing.
Secure the fixing ring firmly.

4. Rotate the handle to check that the D-SF does not interfere with the rotor nut.
If interference occurs, remove the rotor nut and the washer beneath it, then reinstall and tighten the rotor nut again.
5. Wind the line and check for uneven winding.
Normally, the default adjustment shim is 1 mm. If the line forms a reverse taper, add more adjustment shims.
If the line forms a forward taper, reduce the number of shims.

6. Replace the drag felt inside the spool with IOS Hydra and apply Shirokuma Drag Grease for even higher drag performance.
