Our Selling Price: US$77.00 [Regular Price: US$110.00]
Microcast Spool AMB5030R-C (Spool rim level: 3.0 mm)
Microcast Spool for Ambassadeur 5000C OLD.
Can be installed on Ambassadeur 5000C and 5001C.
Production of the 5000C is said to have begun around 1967.
The spools shown on this page are compatible with models manufactured from the early days to around 1984, when they were reissued by EBISU FISHING.
The 5001C will also fit models manufactured from around 1972 to 1981.
Both 5000C and 5001C, and later (Mamiya-OP) reissue models have a bulge on the handle side plate, making this one non-conforming.
Please note that Ambassadeur 5000C and 5001C with the same name do not fit Palming models or ULTRACAST models.
Fits reels with spool shafts of the shape shown in the photo.
On the right, the cogwheel is removed. Remove the cogwheel and check the shape of the part that will be hidden.
By reducing the weight of the spool and the amount of spooled thread, the overall weight of the spool can be significantly reduced.
It greatly improves the minimum castable lure weight and increases the lure's casting distance at the same weight.
Spool portion: Super duralumin (colored by anodizing)
Shaft portion: stainless steel

The above values are measured with Yamatoyo Tegusu Co., Ltd.'s nylon line (Versatile Design) wound to the bottom of the spool rim.
How to use
Remove the cogwheel on the genuine spool and port it to the Microcast Spool.
Thumbing with the spool rim may cause the anodized aluminum to peel off due to friction.
Thumbing should be done on the line winding surface of the spool.
