Please use a small precision screw driver to remove the level wind cap.



After removing the stock cap,there will be a washer inside of it.
Please use that same washer when applying our custom cap.



Now, simply place that washer back on and apply our custom cap and your finished.

First open open the side plate cover and remove the small screw attaching the front cover.




Next, first remove the handle and then remove the side cover screws.



Then you can remove the front and side covers from your reel.
Please do not turn your reel over after removing the cover as small parts may fall off and be lost.



Next, you may remove the stock level wind cap from your reel.



After removing the stock cap,there will be a washer inside of it.
Please use that same washer when applying our custom cap.
Please use the below photo as a reference point.
Most of shimano's reels maintenance can be done using the same fashion.



Make sure you have securely fastened the inner tube to the gear before attaching the side cover.



Next, check to make sure that the drive gears metal washers face each other perfectly.



When replacing the star drag washer,
make sure that the smooth side of the washer is facing outward towards the nut.
This step cannot be mistaken.



Finally, when replacing the star drag,
make sure all parts are straightly aligned and finish the assembly.
