With No brake
※When you just remove SVS from your genuine spool and use it, please choose here.
At the most reasonable price, you can try the performance of lightweight spool.
With 4P centrifugal brake
※ It is lightweight exclusive brakes and you can easily attach it.
Since it is manufactured more lightly (about 0.3g loss in quantity) than a genuine SVS unit, the spool gross weight also becomes lighter.
With a magnetic brake
※ Although the attachment would be difficult, fine tuning of the magnetic brake is possible even with SHIMANO reel.
|Description
When you want to cast light-weight lures some further, we recommend Microcast Spool MT0725 whose rim level is the lowest.
Please select spools depending on its line-capacity.
Since the genuine spool is light enough, it is difficult to make it lighter with Microcast Spool MT0778. And also you may not feel the difference.
As to brake, please remove the genuine SVS and use it.
You can purchase a magnetic brake separetely for Microcast Spool MT0725 and Microcast Spool MT0739.

|How to replace genuine SVS
This is a '07 Metanium Mg7 LH.
Spool, level-wind guard and the hole of handle plate are matched by the same gold color to be unified well.
Take off the spool.
To remove the SVSunit off the spool
The unit is press-fitted tightly.
Pull the unit by holding the 3 part protruding from the unit, little by little with patience.
(Please take great care not to damage SVS and scratch spool.)
To attach SVS on Microcast Spool
Push the SVS straight into the shaft. Place it to the same position as the genuine spool.
Since the spool shaft of this product does not have knurlings, you can turn the unit to attach and remove.
Put the spool back to reel to finish up.
|How to use 4-points centrifugal brake
(Although you need to purchase the brake separately, the replacement is very easy.)
Just attach the centrifugal brake purchased to the spool with no difficulty.
You can use the genuine Shimano brake blocks.
This choice will be nice if you are concerned about pulling up SVS from a genuine spool.
And it will be also convenient if you do not want to remove SVS unit because you want to use the genuine spool as a spare.
|How to use the magnetic brake
(This is for the experienced persons who can disassemble and assemble reels.)
Please prepare the palming cup equipped with flip-open as shown in the photo.
Disassemble the main body of the handle side, and remove the E-ring at the tip of the shaft.
The palming cup comes out of the main body, use it as it is.
Please keep the E-ring and the spring which were removed in a safe place.
Fit the brake unit in a certain part around bearing catching the spool.
Although four magnets are attached to the brake in the first place, please adjust them and decide the number and position.
Basically, the magnetic poles placed next to each other should be arranged alternately.
(If there is a red mark on the magnet, that side is the N pole.)
The brake will become weak as the magnetic interval is wider.
Even if the same magnetic pole is put in order, it is hard to raise the brake force.
When fine adjustment is still more necessary, you can use a low height magnet.
Put the shaft through the hole and lock the cover as usual.
Then you can use it afterward.
Fine adjustment that is not allowed by centrifugal brake is possible.
Since disassembly of a reel is required for the attachment, it is slightly difficult.
