About the MAGNUMLITE Series



The MAGNUMLITE series is one of the two main concepts of SHIMANO spinning reels, alongside the CORESOLID series.
The CORESOLID series uses a highly rigid rotor made of metal or high-strength resin with moderate inertia, aiming for a solid, silky winding feel. In contrast, the MAGNUMLITE series is designed with emphasis on lightness and response when starting and stopping.
