| Product Description

The “RX Spool CRT” is a lightweight spool developed by Avail for the “DAIWA Crystia” series of WAKASAGI reels, applying the machining technology the company has cultivated through its Microcast Spool line.
It has a shallower groove than the Genuine spool and is designed for 60m of PE #0.2.
Aluminum alloy and extra super duralumin are used in combination, achieving a lighter weight by thinning the walls while retaining the minimum required spool strength.
The line clip is designed so that it does not protrude from the outer circumference of the spool, improving stability during thumbing and reducing tangles when the line goes slack.
The spool can also be easily disassembled simply by removing the bearing retaining spring.
This makes cleaning and replacing the bearings easy.

Compared with spools from other manufacturers, the performance is far superior, and compared with the Genuine spool the rotation performance is so high that it can spin excessively, so care must be taken to avoid line trouble.
I felt that it becomes much easier to handle once you control that rotation with thumbing and similar techniques.
It is especially well matched to styles that use light sinkers, where I could clearly feel an improvement in the drop speed of the rig and in overall handling.
I feel this RX Spool CRT is a part that offers a new approach for anglers looking for a feel different from the Genuine spool.

I was surprised by how light it was the moment I picked the spool up.
The lightness of a spool translates directly into a better initial response when the rig is dropped and a smoother fall, so I was impressed by the responsiveness that comes from that light weight.
With the “line clip,” which is used frequently when fishing on ice, other manufacturers’ products could make it hard to hook the line on, but with this spool I found the line easy to attach and easy to release.
I also have a good impression of the line clip itself being designed small in order to reduce line trouble.
It is welcome that the bearings can be removed easily during maintenance and that the structure makes the inside of the spool easy to clean.

| Cautions

- The pentagonal spring holding the bearings pops out very easily, so please work carefully when disassembling and reassembling.
- A Torx T6 is used for the line clip retaining cap screw.
