If you are after a light, smooth retrieve feel, ball bearings are an excellent choice at present.

On the other hand, the retrieve feel that bearings enhance can also drop off sharply when rust from moisture or salt, intrusion of foreign matter, or loss of grease occurs.
Sensitive fingertips pick this up immediately, and there is no disguising it.

The TAKUMI Bush Series “GEN” -GENESIS- is a high-precision PEEK bush developed specifically for internal drive components that rotate at low to medium speeds, such as handle knobs, drive shafts, pinions, and worm shafts.

Not a lesser substitute for a bearing, but a mutual alternative positioned at the opposite pole.
Rather than chasing the highest initial performance, it maintains stable performance over the long term.

*Always apply grease or oil when installing. Use without lubrication is not recommended.
*When installing on a drive shaft or similar component, use the included shims to adjust the clearance to your preference.
*The 744 specification (7-4-4) and the 956 specification (9-5-6) are dedicated designs.
Please note that they cannot be used on other models.
*The inner diameter of this product is designed to ultra-precise clearances.
Some added retrieve resistance may be felt until it breaks in.
