| Product Concept
A Microcast Spool developed for old models of the Ambassadeur 4500C.
It fits the silver mountain-rim models manufactured from around 1976 to 1978, and the 1978 4600C (Red Tongue) model.
Even among the 4500C models sharing the same name, it does not fit the Palming model, the blue-gray model from the Mamiya era, or the Simon Shimomura model, so please be careful not to make a mistake. Also, the 4600C (Red Tongue) does not fit the reissue model from the Mamiya era.
For the ULTRACAST Model, where the spool shaft detaches from the spool, this spool is compatible.
Compared with the genuine spool (approx. 24.0g), the AMB4530R-EF is reduced by approx. 10.6g and the AMB4550R-EF by approx. 10g.
In addition, reducing the amount of line wound allows the total spool weight to be lightened significantly.
This greatly improves the minimum castable lure weight, and extends casting distance for lures of the same weight.
| Identifying Compatible Reels by Spool Shaft
It fits reels with the spool shaft shape shown in the photo.
Remove the cog wheel and check the shape of the part that gets hidden.

Remove the cog wheel attached to the genuine spool and transfer it to the Microcast Spool.

If you apply thumbing on the spool rim, the anodized coating may peel off.
Please apply thumbing on the line-wound surface.
