| Compatibility

Compatible with reels equipped with the initial and current ULTRACAST spools.

Not compatible with New ULTRACAST models equipped with the Anti-Distortion Spool released during the interim period.

| Installation Method

1. Remove the handle-side unit and take out the spool.

2. Remove the cogwheel and bearing (10×4×4).

3. Remove the centrifugal brake.
The brake is fitted into the spool groove, so lift it out with your fingers. If tight, use a chopstick or similar tool.
*Older ULTRACAST models or factory-tuned models may use a metal 2-point brake.
In such cases, it is secured with a metal C-ring which must be removed for disassembly.

4. Attach the components in the order shown above.
*Prototype images used; actual product color may differ.

5. Attach parts to the centrifugal brake side of the spool.
Order: Washer (copper ring), bearing, centrifugal brake.
Insert the centrifugal brake parts to match the spool groove.

6. When attaching the centrifugal brake parts, pay attention to the orientation.

7. Attach parts to the cogwheel side.
Insert the bearing and install the included cogwheel.
Align the gear teeth, check the fit, and press evenly.
Improper fit may cause damage or spool wobble.
Ensure the cogwheel is neither lifted nor tilted after installation.

8. When assembling the spool, push the brake blocks inward.

9. Re-adjust the brakes as needed.

| Cautions

- Always use the included cogwheel (sold separately: Click and Cog Wheel compatible with #19373).
- Avoid thumb pressure on the spool rim; it may cause anodized coating to peel. Apply pressure to the line-winding surface instead.

*About Avail Spool Handling

Avail spools are designed with minimal required strength to achieve lightweight.
Please follow the precautions below:

- Do not use nylon lines with models that lack nylon capacity specs on Avail's website.
- Do not leave nylon line spooled for extended periods.
- Do not hold the spool and pull the line when snagged.

*Spools are anodized and may have color unevenness or minor discoloration.
They may also peel due to friction.
