The YUMEYA Rapid Fire Drag Knob is an optional drag system compatible with 1000 - C2500 size spinning reels (YUMEYA Spool Type S-30/S-31/S-32).
Its main benefit is reducing line breakage when using light lines.
This system is characterized by drag force that rises instantly and can be loosened quickly with just a small number of knob rotations.
Compared to reels not equipped with Rapid Fire Drag, the target drag force can be increased or decreased in approximately 2/3 of a rotation.
Using this characteristic, you can tighten the drag firmly during hooksets to drive the hook securely into the fish's mouth, then instantly loosen the drag afterward to reduce stress on the line and prevent breakage.
This unlocks the performance of ultra-fine lines used with 1000 - C2500 size reels, enabling both delicate and bold approaches.
