The Heat Sink Drag is an evolution of the previous model’s X Tough Drag, which delivered overwhelming drag performance and durability, now even more resistant to heat.
The “Heat Sink Panel” disperses heat generated in the drag system outside of the spool, reducing drag power loss due to heat degradation.
In addition, the “Insulating Sheet” blocks heat from transferring to the spool winding area, successfully reducing its temperature rise.

Thanks to advancements in gear surface design and manufacturing, Infinity Xross expands the contact surface between drive and pinion gears.

The NEW STELLA SW features a gear width about 1.3 times wider than the previous model, maintaining smooth gear feeling even under higher loads.


ANTI-TWIST FIN

Suppress Unwanted Line Trouble



A fin placed near the line roller reduces line slack, preventing the line from slipping under the spool skirt.
Elastic material in the fin also prevents damage when knots are reeled in.

AR-C Spool



The AR-C Spool, with a specially shaped spool ring, smooths line flow and improves both line trouble prevention and long-casting performance.
The 25 STELLA SW uses a newly shaped AR-C with a ring color designed to prevent line from catching.

Once inside the reel, seawater corrodes metal parts, significantly degrading initial performance.
STELLA SW features thorough sealing on the body, drag knob, and line roller to block water entry.
The body and stopper section have achieved IPX8 waterproofing standard.

The waterproof structure has also been refined to preserve waterproofing while enabling smoother rotation.

It was meticulously designed to perfectly match SHIMANO reels sized 8000 to 14000.
Height, angle, and axis alignment of the reel are analyzed so that the guides line up seamlessly along their extension.

DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating reduces friction and prevents line wear.

Line Roller Loosening Prevention Mechanism
