| Improve Drag Performance — Introducing the “D. Disc System” for Extra Fine Line!

Standard drag washers are made of felt material, which increases friction and load at the initial startup, making the line more prone to breakage.
Additionally, high friction resistance generates heat that changes the drag viscosity, preventing stable drag performance.

The newly developed D. Disc System features an original slit design to support the increasingly popular extra fine line, minimizing line breakage while suppressing excessive drag release.
Thanks to the slit design, the drag operates naturally and smoothly from the initial movement up to the line’s limit, providing stable and optimal drag tension to enhance reel performance.

The slit design also creates grease pockets within the disc, allowing the grease to circulate continuously while the drag is in operation.
When used together with the TD System, drag performance is significantly improved.

The D. Disc System Kai, developed exclusively for light game fishing, adopts an original slit design that suppresses excessive drag release during startup.
The slit design ensures a natural and smooth drag release with precise line control, providing stable drag tension and improving reeling performance.

In traditional felt drag washers, the initial resistance tends to be high, which can cause the fishing line to break easily at the moment of hook set.
