Item Description
[Laulau 8.3GT-S Rev3.1] by TRANSCENDENCE

The Laulau 8.3GT-S Rev3.1 is the offshore versatile rod offered by TRANSCENDENCE.
The grip is now a fully separate grip, and the closed length is 530mm.
The aim was to handle offshore big game in a single rod - from Okinawa to Hokkaido and overseas expeditions.
Something normally unthinkable.
But we wanted to make it work with this one rod no matter what. With that thought, we developed the LL83GTS Rev3.1.
The target is a variety of fish eaters up to the 100kg class.
The mD2 system, which changes the material and design for every section, is only possible because of the multi-piece rod.
Using this design philosophy, it is engineered to handle games from under 10kg up to 100kg.
The more a multi-piece rod is divided, the more finely it can be designed, and by splitting the blanks moderately we achieved both functionality and durability.
The initial version, Rev1.0, had an overall supple rod setting compared with typical offshore rods, so that overseas freshwater monster fish could also be enjoyed.
Rev2.0 enhanced its qualities as an offshore rod, placing emphasis on lure games and lure targets rather than freshwater monster fish, and strengthened blanks power overall.
Rev3.0 achieved lighter blanks and improved power, allowing casting and fighting to be enjoyed more comfortably.
The guide setting was also changed, adopting RV guides.
By taking advantage of the multi-piece rod and changing the carbon ratio for each section, it achieves both casting distance and power, finished to be easy to use for a wide range of targets.
For GT games and fights with large amberjack, the sense of stability and security has increased even further than Rev2.0.
The butt power has the blanks power and restoring force to flexibly parry the thrusts of GT, large amberjack, and bluefin tuna and to lift them naturally.
The 1st and 2nd sections pursue operability and long-distance casting performance.
The 3rd and 4th sections pursue lifting performance.
When you hook a fish with Laulau, the load is applied to the 3rd and 4th sections.
These sections are finished to bend moderately while remaining tenacious, specialized in floating fish.
Because it is a pack rod with a closed length of 530mm, it avoids the risk of lost baggage or damage on overseas expeditions.
What matters most on an expedition is to be able to fish in the first place.
While being lightweight, it pursues both robustness and flexibility, finished as an expedition rod that can approach any target.
Please pick one up and try it for yourself.
