The plate is H-section 3D machined with high-precision machining from a block of “A7075 extra super duralumin”, a material that must be strong yet light.
The skirt has an outer diameter matched to each SHIMANO and DAIWA reel size, so it matches the reel.
Its biggest feature is that the handle pitch can be changed in four steps of about 1.7mm, from 70mm to 75mm.
You can set your preferred pitch for more aggressive fishing.
The knob is the thin-walled hollow titanium knob “EP 44”.

Change the Handle Pitch in Four 1.7mm Steps
By rotating the hexagonal plate to fix the handle, you can change the handle pitch in four steps of 1.7mm, between 70mm and 75mm.

Extra super duralumin is a type of aluminum alloy, called “A7075” in the Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS). It has excellent stress resistance and is used for thick plates and forged parts.
