Equipped with the Thin-Walled Hollow Titanium Knob “Forte air”
LIVRE reworked how the titanium part of the knob is made: instead of deep drawing from 1.0mm titanium sheet, it is now spin-formed (*1) from 0.8mm titanium sheet, and the aluminum knob collar is heavily lightened. As a result, Forte air weighs 8.7g, 2.6g lighter than the previous f knob.
Its distinctive shape features a refined reverse taper and spiral dimples.

Spin Forming (*1)
A 0.8mm titanium sheet is pressed against a mandrel and rolled little by little with a roller, thinning the titanium wall to 0.4-0.8mm for a major weight reduction.
Although the wall becomes extremely thin, the rolling increases the strength of the material itself, giving almost the same strength as the previous f knob.

A7075 Extra Super Duralumin, H-Section 3D Machining
Extra super duralumin is a type of aluminum alloy, called “A7075” in the Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS). It has excellent stress resistance and is used for thick plates and forged parts.
It is H-section 3D machined with high-precision machining.
Machining from a solid block allows maximum weight reduction while giving top priority to keeping rigidity high.

Variable Pitch System
The handle length is 50mm on the inner setting and 55mm on the outer setting of the main plate, so you can set your preferred length within a 5mm range.
