The plate is made from ultra-strong yet lightweight A7075 extra super duralumin, precision 3D H-shaped machined from a solid block.
The skirt section matches the outer diameter of Shimano and DAIWA reels, achieving a perfect fit with the reel.

The knob used is the lightweight, hollow titanium knob “EP 50.”
The Esfera Pentagono shape (a smooth transition from sphere to pentagon)
features a rounded palm side with dimples and a gently angled pentagon on the reel side.
This shape increases the winding power and ensures you never miss the decisive moment.

Ultra-lightweight Hollow Titanium Knob
The palm side has a rounded shape with dimples, and the reel side is a gentle pentagon.
This design provides a firm grip and prevents slipping.
The knob size on POWER 98 is 50 mm in diameter, transmitting maximum power from your hand to the reel.
Titanium is used to achieve both strength and lightness.
The upper and lower parts are welded in a hollow structure.
Each piece is carefully heat-colored by skilled craftsmen.
