｜How to replace SVS brake

CALCUTTA
Take SVS off the genuine spool.
The brake unit is press-fitted.
Loosen the unit by liftiing little by little.
Then pull straight out from spool.
Please be careful not to damage the brake and scratch spool rim.

Press brake unit into Microcast Spool tightly.
Since the total weight of spool gets lighter, you will use less number of brake block.

※As for removing and also attaching, please do so on your own responsibility.

Brake unit is required separately.

Attach the brake to handle side unit.

Place the magnetic brake on the bearing in the unit as pictured above.

Press thoroughly up to the bottom.

Put the spool back and attach it into main frame to finish up.

※How to adjust the magnetic brake

There are 4 magnets in the brake.
Place those magnetic poles next to each other alternately.
The more numbers of magnet, the stronger the brake works
