Everyone has thought about it. The obvious question is: how? The 9.8L is the answer to that question, given the shape of a rod.
Casting something light a long way means the rod has to bend well.
Anything long, thin and flexible loses control and flails as it springs back.
If the flailing blank is not controlled, accuracy suffers and the distance you need cannot be achieved.
High-modulus carbon placed on the outer layer gathers the forces that scatter in every direction into a single point and removes wobble, creating explosive power at release.
As a result, light lures fly powerfully, and even small contacts from fish are transmitted to your hand.
The guides are not too small either, so PE #2 with a 16lb leader passes through without problems. Swap reels to suit your target and try it in various kinds of fishing - you may make new discoveries.

| Please Be Aware of Joint Loosening

Due to the nature of pack rods, joints may loosen after repeated casting.
If the joints are not properly connected, it can lead to damage at the joint section or cause the rod to break.
Applying ferrule wax helps prevent the joint from slipping off during casting, prevents sticking caused by moisture intrusion, and protects the joint section.
We strongly recommend checking for joint looseness after several casts and using ferrule wax.
