| Product Description

A line roller compatible with SHIMANO reels.
Its proprietary VS mechanism pursues both a quick, light start of rotation and a reduced load on the line.
In addition to the water resistance provided by the included dedicated washers, all components are made in Japan for enhanced quality and durability.
The housing is corrosion-protected by hard anodizing, so it can be used without issue in saltwater and with PE line.




| Equipped With the Vector Shift Mechanism





A V-shaped profile inside the line guide creates a proprietary mechanism in which the contact point shifts within the guide according to line tension (Japanese Patent Application No. 2026-141633).
Under low tension, the line contacts the walls on both sides of the guide, securing moderate friction and delivering a quick start of roller rotation.
Under high tension, the contact point shifts toward the center, freeing the sides of the line and reducing friction.
This suppresses uneven loading on the roller and reduces wear on both the line and the roller, as well as line twist.


| Dedicated Waterproof Washers Included



The included dedicated tabbed washers form a labyrinth structure together with the roller housing.
This limits the ingress of water running along the line, protecting the bearings and helping sustain rotational performance.
The washers are made of corrosion-resistant SUS stainless steel, and precision machining prevents interference with the arm cam and the bail.
High water resistance is achieved without compromising rotational performance.

| Installation

1. After disassembly, remove the Genuine parts and clean off any remaining grease.
2. Assemble the parts in order from the bail side, as shown in the diagram above.
3. Tighten the Genuine fixing bolt from the arm side.
* Applying oil (CYPHER or similar) to the bearings during assembly is recommended.
* Use proper tools when disassembling, and take care not to lose parts, install them in the wrong orientation, or overtighten
