[IOS FACTORY] IOS Drag Disk Full Contact [dragdiskfullcontact]
Our Selling Price: US$15.40 [Regular Price: US$22.00]
Item Description

The distinctive spiral slits and blanking holes machined into the drag plate keep drag grease stably in place and reduce the grease from spreading toward the outer edge under full lock, delivering torque-rich, tenacious resistance across the entire drag range and bringing out the drag’s true performance.
For example, even under low tension with light line, short-stroke hooksets are set powerfully.
It also makes the most of a seemingly contradictory drag characteristic: even just short of full lock, line pays out steadily and extremely smoothly.
Letting you use line strength right up to its limit, this truly “full contact” drag disk breaks the mold of conventional drag design.

| Compatible Reels
Basically for DAIWA LT and SF models from 2018 onward, sizes 1000 - 2500
Full Contact is available in two types: LT and SF.
The shaft diameter and thickness differ, so they are not interchangeable.
* If the genuine drag plate size and thickness are the same as those of 2018-onward LT or SF models, pre-2018 models can also be used.
Please refer to the compatibility chart for details.

| Installation Method (Common to LT & SF)
* Installation simply involves replacing the genuine drag disk inside the spool.
Always set an IOS HYDRA or a genuine drag felt underneath Full Contact before use.
Full Contact cannot be used on its own.
Installing the IOS Drag System and applying IOS Drag Grease brings out 100% of its effect.

1. Remove the genuine drag disk retaining ring, then remove the drag disk and the drag felt.

2. Apply IOS Drag Grease to the IOS drag felt “HYDRA” or to a genuine drag felt, then install it inside the spool.
* As a guide, apply generously - enough that the holes in HYDRA are just faintly covered.

3. Install Full Contact. (Note the orientation.)

4. Fit the drag disk retaining ring back into position to complete the installation.

| Caution
- If Full Contact will not fit onto the spool shaft, please check whether the Full Contact type is “SF”.
- If there is excessive play after Full Contact is installed, please check whether the Full Contact type is “LT”.
