[For SHIMANO] Line Roller 1BB Bearing Upgrade [B-TYPE]

(Required Parts)
- Line roller BB x1 (SHG-740ZZ or HRCB-740ZHi)
- Roller bush (for 1BB) x1
- Roller washer (0.8mm) x2

Smoother line roller rotation reduces line twist, which keeps the line supple and improves durability and casting distance.




Remove the screw securing the line roller and disassemble it.




The parts in the upper part of the photo are the Genuine parts.
Replace the parts outlined in red with the parts included in the kit, then reassemble.




Fit the bearing into the roller bush included in the kit.




Next, install the parts you just assembled into the line roller body.
Be careful of the orientation of each part.




Attach the line roller body with the parts installed to the reel.
Again, be careful of the orientation of the parts.




If everything is correct, it can be installed as shown in the photo.




Attach the white plastic Genuine ring to the position indicated by the arrow.




Stack the two metal washers included in the kit and install them at the position indicated by the arrow (inside the line roller body).




Attach the metal Genuine spacer to the position on the reel body indicated by the arrow.




Raise the arm so that the parts do not come apart, and secure it again with the screw to complete the installation.
Finally, check that the line roller rotates properly.
If it does not rotate properly, disassemble it again and check that each part is installed correctly.
