[For DAIWA] Tournament Drag Bearing Upgrade (Models From 2018 Onward)

(Required Parts)
- Spool Shaft BB x1 (SHG-1170 or HRCB-1170Hi)
- Hex Wrench for Spool Shaft x1
*For models 6000 and above, the bearing may be 1280 size.




Replacing the plastic ring on the spool shaft with a bearing improves drag performance.




Remove the adjustment washer from the spool shaft.
A set screw will then appear.




Remove the set screw with the included hex wrench.




The collar and spool metal can now be removed.




Replace the collar with the bearing included in the kit.




Reinstall the spool metal and bearing onto the spool shaft, and secure the parts with the set screw.




Finally, install the adjustment washer to complete the installation.
